The King of Cretan Wine
Terra Divino
Everything comes from the land -our own divine land.
Eleni Vorizanaki and Nikos Tzorakakis have the same vision:
To create amazing Cretan wines using particularly the varieties that are dominant in this part of the world.
“Combining Liatiko PDO which grows in abundance in Crete, with international varieties we created our own secret recipe.
Our dream was to create modern wines using ancient traditional methods – not an easy path.
We just reached a total of 50 awards in national and international competitions which took years of experimenting and going against the tide.
Our wines are now best sellers in the biggest hotel chains in Crete and compliment several local dishes as well as a classic french cheese boards or Italian charcuterie boards.
We would love our customers to be able to find our wines in their home countries so they can continue their holiday wherever they are are:
Bring your Crete with you!”
Love,
Eleni and Nikos

Red Wine
Red wine is a staple in Crete. The island is producing several red grape varieties, such as Kotsifali and Liatiko, which are used to produce high-quality red wines.
The conditions in Crete, particularly the hot weather and the rich soil create a unique terroir and distinct flavor profile to the wines. Crete’s red wines are known for their rich, full-bodied texture and flavors of dark fruit, spices, and subtle hints of oak.
White Wine
White wine is also a popular choice in Crete. The island is home to several indigenous white grape varieties, such as Vidiano and Chardonnay, which are used to produce crisp and fresh white wines.
The climate and soil conditions of Crete are particularly well-suited for white grape production, resulting in wines with flavors of citrus, green apple, and floral notes.
Rose Wine
The island’s rosé wines are typically made from the Vilana and Liatiko grape varieties, which are blended to create a delightful pink wine with flavors of strawberry, watermelon, and subtle hints of citrus.
The rosé wines from Crete are perfect for sipping on a warm summer evening or pairing with seafood and Mediterranean dishes. The Heraklion region is particularly famous for its rosé production.
